Rotten Tommatoes has a list up of the worst rated movies of all time.
Alone in the Dark comes up as #2 on that list, making it the worst rated game based on a movie. Hint: The number 1 movie has a game based on it.

Absent from the list was the "Super Mario Brothers Movie".
